How does EYESHINE work?

The active ingredient complex stimulates blood circulation and provides a refreshing feeling along the sensitive eye area. The menthol contained has a cooling and invigorating effect.

Tocopherol (vitamin E) is an effective antioxidant and provides moisture. Wrinkles and swellings are reduced and prevented. This multiple effect of the new EYESHINE lifting and firming cream is due to two natural active ingredients that have been tested in numerous clinical studies: silk tree (Albizia julibrissin) and heavenly herb (Siegesbeckia orientalis). The silk tree, which originates from Asia, promotes the elasticity and resilience of the skin. It loses its suppleness, for example, due to external stress factors such as intense sunlight or internal factors such as nicotine and alcohol consumption as well as a diet containing sugar and fat. If, for example, excess sugar molecules cannot be used for energy production, they accumulate on proteins, harden them (glycation) and thus prevent the body’s own elastin and collagen from repairing sensitive skin tissue. This leads to deep shadows under the eyes, swelling and a flaccid, wrinkled skin. The healing properties of the silk tree counteract this hardening process. The second active ingredient, the Himmlische Kraut, known in India as a medicinal plant, has a healing and calming effect. It protects the skin cells from dangerous free radicals, stimulates the detoxification system and strengthens the skin structure.
